ABOUT ME
As a child, I wasn't particularly interested in art. I took the usual art classes that most kids take but I didn't pursue it at home. I started becoming interested in art when my husband went into the army. Needing something to do, I went to the arts & crafts building on base and the person in charge showed me how to paint. I continued painting when we went home to New Jersey, first with adult night school classes and later enrolling in DuCret School of the Arts in Plainfield, NJ where I graduated in 1989. While I was at DuCret, I started painting in alkyds which is a fast-drying type of oil paint.

When I bought my first digital camera in 2002, I became very interested in photography, especially digitally enhanced photographs where the photograph resembles a painting. I have been using Photoshop to produce these digitally enhanced photographs which has extended the scope of my artwork.

Here in my gallery you will find both my original paintings and my digitally enhanced photographs.
